Double Vision - Malta

The talk is part of a series of Double Vision presentations where Nick is joined by Vanessa. Nick and Vanessa have their own quite different but distinctive approach to photography and these views are expressed in the photography throughout the presentation. The presentation starts with the projection of medium format transparencies of images of Malta. This is done using the world famous Hasselblad PCP80 slide projector (the host is requested to provide a large projection screen). Having shown the Island by projection there follows a display of prints. These are both monochrome and colour and include the use of many derivative techniques. Nick and Vanessa will explain why and how the many techniques were used. This talk in many ways is a continuation of Double Vision – Italy with a number of new and exciting derivative techniques being explored. This presentation also contains digital imagery and shows the contrast between the various mediums.
What others say......
Many thanks for your lecture Double Vision - Malta; it was greatly enjoyed by all.   The digital work was quite the best we have seen and has given a firm nod to our computer workers to do better."  F.A.  Worthing & District C.C.

"Thank you for coming because you and Vanessa always put on not only an interesting presentation but then introduce both thought provoking and sometimes provocative and controversial ideas.  This is good and long may you continue to do so."  B.M. Havant C.C.
